Earth Advantage Institute is partnering with Friends of Trees to bring you the first annual Earth Advantage Earth Day run/walk event! We hope you will enjoy this run celebrating the wonder of life on our planet. This event will include some information booths focusing on health, wellness, sustainable living, or energy efficient education, products & options. The 10K & 5K run/walk will go through a piece of Cook Park to ensure nature has a place in this run. And not to be left out, “man’s best friend” can participate in the 5K doggy walk to ensure everyone in the family gets exercise.

Our “partner” organizations are helping to promote the Earth Day run/walk to their members and/or employees, which will help attract more event participants. Live music will be available at the end of the race along with snacks & beverages.

Included with registration: Snacks, beverages, music, race t-shirts & finisher medal, along with enjoyable times for all!

Beneficiary
Portion of net proceeds are shared with Friends of Trees that helps bring people in the Portland - Vancouver metro area together to plant and care for city trees and urban natural areas.

Starting Times
6:45am - Registration Opens - Race packet pick up (located next to Earth Advantage office)
7:00am - Gear Check-in
8:00am - 10K Run Starts8:15am - 5K Run/Walk/Doggy Walk (please note, if you wish to have your dog involved, you can ONLY walk your canine friend for the safety of other runners. Please, only well temperament dogs allowed).

10:00am - Kid’s “Recycle” Race (Fun Race of ages 4-12 years old).
